Biographical drama directed by Mira Nair and starring Lupita Nyong'o, David Oyelowo, and newcomer Madina Nalwanga - as a budding young chess prodigy. From the book The Queen of Katwe: A Story of Life, Chess, and One Extraordinary Girl's Dream of Becoming a Grandmaster by Tim Crothers. This is an uplifting true story based on the life of Ugandan woman Phiona Mutesi.
